Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is currently in Rome where he’ll have surgery today. The German player was injured during the recent match against Manchester United, he’ll be operated on the meniscus of his left knee by doctor Pierpaolo Mariani at the Villa Stuart clinic.
Rudiger was accompanied by Chelsea’s team doctor, he’ll stay at the clinic until Thursday. So far this season Rudiger appeared in 44 matches in all competitions.
