After one season at the club, Gian Piero Ventura has resigned as Salernitana manager. The former Azzurri coach had an expiring contract, he decided to leave the club following the last match of the season, a 2-1 home loss to Spezia. Salernitana issued a statement to announce the decision and thank Ventura for his work.
