Following his in season sacking at Sampdoria, Eusebio Di Francesco is one step closer to returning to a Serie A bench. In fact the former Roma manager is ready to sign a two year deal to take over at Cagliari.
The Sardinian club had been linked Lecee's Liverani but in recent days Di Francesco's became the favorite to replace Walter Zenga who had previously taken over for Maran.
