After the official acquisition of Tanner Tessmann, midfielder from the class of 2001 who played for Dallas, a deal is now complete for another American.
Talks were held for Gianluca Busio, a midfielder born in 2002 who currently plays for Sporting Kansas City. A move by Venezia that looks to the future for a player that has already impressed with his qualities in the MLS. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, but his name brings you to Italy. His father, in fact, is from Brescia. A fact that has allowed Gianluca to obtain an Italian passport and be considered a domestic player.
An operation of around 4 million euros, with the player expected to arrive in Italy next week to undergo medical visits and sign his contract with Venezia.
Busio has made 60 appearances in the MLS, and has made his official debut with the United States national team on July 12th against Haiti in the Gold Cup.
