Italy will be facing Sweden this evening in Stockholm in the first leg of the World Cup playoffs. It will be a difficult match for the azzurri, but the only thing that counts is getting a result over two legs and making it to Russia. Manager Giampiero Ventura is reverting back to a 3-5-2 lineup for Italy, with the "BBC" leading the back line and Immobile and Belotti leading the attack, while Sweden will play in a compact 4-4-2. Here are the official formations:
Sweden (4-4-2): Olsen; Krafth, Lindelof, Granqvist, Augustinsson; Claesson, Larsson, Ekdal, Forsberg; Toivonen, Berg. Manager: Jan Andersson
Italy (3-5-2): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Candreva, Parolo, De Rossi, Verratti, Darmian; Immobile, Belotti. Manager: Giampiero Ventura
