After clinching promotion to Serie A on August 20th in the playoff finals, Spezia are focused on bolstering Vincenzo Italiano's squad. New sporting director Mauro Meluso recently replaced Guido Angelozzi, he's pondering signing Manuel Iturbe and Diego Farias.
Iturbe spent part of last season at Pumas in Mexico, but has previous Serie A experience after playing ay Roma. Verona and Torino while Farias played 18 matches for Lecce last season, he had recently been linked to Parma. In addition, Spezia are also considering Jacobo Sala who is available on a Bosman deal.
