One year spent with Valladolid of the Fenomeno Ronaldo, one year in Greece with Livaja and Krstcic. Now, an expected return to Italy after experiences in both Serie A and B: Daniele Verde is close to joining Spezia, as sporting director Mauro Meluso is hoping to bring the class of '96 winger to the club.
After leaving Verona in 2018, Verde is ready to take his chances in Serie A: the interest from Spezia is strong, but the deal cannot be completed before the evening of September 12. There's a match set on this date for the Coppa between AEK and Olimpyakos, with the former unwilling to sell Verde prior to the match. The formula of the deal is expected to be a loan with the right to purchase.
