Simone Inzaghi's Lazio team recorded a 2-0 win to pull ahead in the Serie A table, with one more match played than Juventus and two more than Inter, the teams they lead. After the win, Inzaghi spoke to Sky Sport about how he sees things at this point in the season: "If you had told me that we would be in first place, I would have told you it would be difficult. But after our pre-season I was satisfied with how we worked, I believed, and I know that we could do well. I wouldn't have said we would be first, but I know my players and what they're capable of. Luis Alberto and Milinkovic-Savic are two top players, it would be reductive to discuss only them. I left Vavro and Caicedo on the bench, after they played great at Genoa, but given the opponent I decided on playing the others, the players understood and accepted it, it was a difficult decision for me. Is this our year? We've only finished between 5th and 8th place and won two trophies in the past few years. Now we're first and it's deserved with how we've played. Juventus-Inter postponed? It doesn't affect us. We didn't consider it. In Italy there is a serious problem regarding postponed matches or open or closed doors. We must get the coronavirus under control as soon as possible, taking many precautions."
