Sevilla manager Pablo Machin spoke to the press leading up to the team's Europa League match against Lazio. While Sevilla fell to Villarreal 3-0, they still believe in their chances to win the Europa League cup fo the sixth time.
"Tomorrow is a very important match for us, we need to get back to winning. I hope that Immobile doesn't celebrate this birthday with a goal against us. Losing is never good, we want to win at all costs. We need to keep our heads held high, we've been through worse periods. It's part of football, especially when you're a squad like ours with big goals. It's all in our hands, we must win. We had chances, but what's missing is continuity. To shoot at goal it'll take us more than before. The team is talented, the players have always shown that, we need to insist in what were doing."
On Luis Alberto's injury, as he's likely to miss the match: "Luis Alberto is an important player for us, but I'm more worried about the team. Lazio is a great squad and has nothing to lose."
On Ever Banega missing the match: "He's important for us, we have a good roster to ease the pain of missing him. There are many of us, so we're competitive. We only think about Lazio, we need to pass this round."
