Jeremie Boga was one of the breakout players of the Serie A season with eight goals to go with four assists in twenty four matches. Sassuolo have ensured they control the winger's future by reaching an agreement with Chelsea to remove the Premier League club's buy back clause.

Sassuolo had acquired Boga for €5.5 million while the Blues had a buyback clause set at €8 million, today the clubs reached a financial agreement, for a sum higher than had been agreed to last summer, which removes the buy back clause and leaves Chelsea with simply a right of first refusal on a future sale.

Now Sassuolo control Boga's future and their intention is to keep him for another season, so even an offer of €30 million may not be enough. Napoli are at the top of the list of suitors and have an initial offer of between €20 and €25 million to try to convince Sassuolo to sell the Ivorian winger.
