Sampdoria, Viviano could miss the derby versus Genoa

Sampdoria may have to play the derby on Saturday without starting keeper Emiliano Viviano. During the match against Pescara, Viviano was hit on the wrist by the ball which caused him a lot of pain. The keeper was able to finish the match but since the team resumed practices he's only been able to do work in the gym- he's currently undergoing tests to find out the severity of the injury. Should Viviano miss the match against Genoa, Puggioni is ready to replace him.
