Sampdoria have officially signed Julian Chabot from FC Groningen (Eredivisie) for a fee of around € 3.7m. The German defender, born in 1998, signed a contract with the Blucerchiati until June 30, 2024. To announce the arrival of Chabot on a five-year contract, was Sampdoria on their official website.
"President Massimo Ferrero and U.C. Sampdoria communicate that they have acquired, from F.C. Groningen, the rights to the sports performances of the football player Julian Jeffrey Chabot (born in Hanau, Germany, 12 February 1998). The defender signed an economic contract that will take effect from 1 July 2019 until 30 June 2024".
