Lazio president Claudio Lotito and manager Simone Inzaghi met again today after yesterday's meeting. The director of sport, Tare, was also present in today's meeting which took place from 6:30pm to 9:15pm local time, more than 2 hours long.
The discussion continued around the manager's future, who will not speak ahead of the match against Torino either. Inzaghi is taking his time to decide as he is one of the candidates for the vacant Juventus position, and he has met with Paratici in Piacenza a few days ago.
Lotito, however, has remained clear: he doesn't want to let Inzaghi leave. Rather, he would like to prolong his stay as his current contract expires in 2020 and is planning a change in wages. He wants to hold onto Inzaghi tightly, at any cost, but he can't waste too much time as he needs to prepare for next season. He would like for a complete picture to be in place by July 12th, therefore, today's meeting could have made progress in one way or the other.
