Sampdoria president Ferrero: "Our own stadium is a dream for us and our fans"

Sampdoria's president Massimo Ferrero was given a chance to speak outside of the hall of the Liguria region, about a possible future stadium deal: "I have several projects, between film and sport, but the Regional President, who is a decent man, as well as a forward looking functionary, knows that my primary goal outside of football is the dream of building a stadium just for Sampdoria and its fans. I am confident that president Toti can help Sampdoria reach this goal. Is it possible? I've come up with several proposals, the elections are now and we'll see. Will we share with Genoa? Both Sampdoria and Genoa should have their own stadium entirely, because a stadium means ticket sales, and sales means players, and players mean points in the table, and points in the table mean trophies."
