Juventus, Dani Alves:"Leaving Barcelona on a free transfer was a classy act"

Last summer Dani Alves left Barcelona to join Juventus to bring his Champions League pedigree to Turin, the Brazilian wing back discussed his decision in an interview with ABC:"Leaving Barcelona on a free transfer was a classy act. During my last three seasons I kept hearing that Dani Alves would leave, but management never said anything to my face. They were very dishonest and didn't show me respect, they only offered me an extension when FIFA sanctioned them. I wanted to leave my comfort zone and compete at a high level on a historic and winning club because I'm a winner. Juventus is an institution that can always teach you something, that always competes. Here I'm happy and I have new challenges in this group. We have a team good enough to compete for Champions, without a doubt. But here everyone is superstitious so I whisper it: we'll go step by step. First against Porto and then we'll see"
