Sampdoria meeting with Hellas Verona for midfielder Bessa

Sampdoria are making an effort to land Hellas Verona midfielder Daniel Bessa. A meeting is underway between the clubs, in which Sampdoria sporting director Osti and his counterpart Fusco, from Verona, are present. Bessa is being targeted as a possible replacement trequartista in case Ricky Alvarez is sold, but the deals don't necessarily hinge on one another, given the need created by the injury to Praet during Sampdoria's draw against Roma on Wednesday.
