Napoli and Sampdoria are in talks over the future of Fernando Llorente. The Spanish striker is on an expiring contract in June, and he is outside of the project for coach Gattuso. Sampdoria is targeting Llorente, and is offering a 6-month contact, asking Napoli to contribute a portion of his salary.
The player has not yet expressed his willingness to join Samp, first he will wait to see if the two clubs find an agreement. Sampdoria could close the deal offering a year and a half contract, but they are not yet willing to. There is also possible competition from Benevento and Fiorentina, both clubs were interested in Llorente in the summer and could reignite their pursuit.
