Inter returns to Serie A play against Cagliari after crashing out of Champions League this week. Manager Antonio Conte spoke with the press before tomorrow's match.
"I expect a difficult match. When you play against Cagliari, you must always expect these types of matches. We must be great at playing in the right way from the start."
"The Champions League elimination was painful for me and the players, we believed in ourselves. We put ourselves in a tough situation after the loss to Real. It's a shame to leave in this way without being able to score goals. Now we must lift our heads. The morale is not at the stars, it's right that there's pain for losing, but we know that we must soon approach a game in the best way possible."
On Eriksen: "You all see Eriksen in the games played, but the homework of a manager is to bring everyone to improvement. I am doing this with Christian and he knows that I work with intellectual honesty and try to improve everyone, whether you're an 18 year old or an older player like Handanovic. I am working with him to improve a few of his traits, at times I'm able to in an evident way and others less. But my homework is to be available, together with the staff, to all players. Maybe with him it'll take more time, then he'll unleash and show his talent."
