Last 90 minutes of Serie A at Luigi Ferraris today for Sampdoria, against Juventus, and that could also be the last minutes of Marco Giampaolo's adventure with the Blucerchiati: the coach will go salute the fans under the Curva Sud.
"I haven't done it before to leave the spotlight on the players. It doesn't mean I'll leave but I just want to thank them for this season" has said the coach during his press conference.
Giampaolo seems getting further and further from Genova though: tomorrow's meeting between coach and club will be decisive - it was initially scheduled during the week between the Chievo and Juve fixtures, then rescheduled because of Ferrero's trip to the USA - but shouldn't change the fate of the Italian trainer.
"I've got a great relationship with my club, extraordinary fans. We've had fun, but I think we need to have new motivations to grow, because what's been extraordinary can't become ordinary afterwards" has told Giampaolo during Sky Calcio Club last week.
