Joan Francesc Ferrer, better known as Rubi, is set to become the new manager of Real Betis and take over for Quique Setien. The decision has already been made for a few days and, this morning, Rubi said good-bye to those at Espanyol. This included club president Chen Yansheng, with whom Rubi had a clear and direct interview where he spoke about his intention to leave for a new project. Real Betis, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo, will pay Espanyol 900,000 euros of the clause as compensation. After arriving in 7th place in La Liga, Rubi accepts the Betis challenge and hopes to return to European competition.
