From striker to club president, this is the path of Luis Nazario de Lima Ronaldo. The legendary striker purchased 51% of Spanish club Vallodolid in September of 2018 and spoke to Financial Times: "Different from the others, I was a player and I know how players think, waht they want and what they need."

He then touched on his period with Milan and advice from Silvio Berlusconi: "How come you never score from corner kicks? It's easy: stay outside of the area and when the cross arrives enter into the box. When Berlusconi would speak everyone would say ' we agree, we'll do it like this,' then we would do it our own way."

From being given adviced to given it, this is what Ronaldo said to Keko after he missed an easy chance to score in the first game of his tenure as president: "When you are in front of the goalie, wait. It will be he who decides where you need to shoot. He looked at me and say, 'it's easy for you to say.'"

During the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan, Ronaldo shared an interesting tidbit about the night before the final: "After dinner everyone was going to sleep, but I didn't want to. I was looking for someone to talk with and asked Dida to keep me company. I was happy. I was scared to get hurt again." This was a reference to the 1998 World Cup when Ronaldo got hurt against France.
