Roma and Valencia have reached an agreement to extend the loan of Alessandro Florenzi until the end of the season in Spain. The player has agreed to stay at the Spanish side too, with his agent Alessandro Lucci working to complete the paperworks necessary to complete the deal.

In the meanwhile, Valencia have signalled their interest in reaching an agreement with Roma to make the transfer of the Italian versatile player permanent. The Spanish club have held discussions with the player's agent Alessandro Lucci to explore this possibility, however they are not the only club interested in Florenzi. In fact, Fiorentina, which had already shown interest in signing Florenzi last summer, and especially Atalanta, who approached Roma in the past January transfer window, are keeping a close eye on the situation. Atalanta's coach Gianpiero Gasperini is especially keen on bringing the 29-year-old at the club, as the manager believes that he would be the perfect fit for his team.
