Francesco Totti is more than just a player for Roma. He is the symbol of an unbreakable faith, and in the event organized by Nike for him, he made some comments to Marca:
“I still remember my debut: I couldn’t believe that Boskov had asked me to step on the field. It’s a dream for any lover of the game of football, especially for a Roma fan”.
Over the years, the game of football has evolved: “These days the tempo of the game has increased. Ones physical ability is as important as ever, but it’s an experience that helped me grow. Technical ability used to be the most important tool to solve problems on the pitch. Tactics have changed too, but players have to adapt”.

As a kid, this was my dream, and nothing could have distracted me from reaching my objectives. Roma is the most beautiful city in the world, and as a Roman Romanista, it’s an honor to end my career with this club. My loyalty has been my biggest triumph.
