After eliminating Villareal, Roma will be facing another tough opponent. As usual, the pitch will decide who the better team is between Lyon and Roma. Roma manager Tempestilli made his comment after the draw:
“Lyon is a team with great history and excellent players. Nonetheless, we are Roma: Our team is competitive and we shouldn’t be afraid of anybody. Yesterdays loss was just a moment of relaxation after the 4-0 from the first leg, but knowing Spalletti he took care of it this morning. Even when up 4-0 you cant’ give anything up. Spalletti values these qualities highly”.
A comment on the historical goal Ex-Roma player Mancini scored when the two sides faced each other previously: “It was an incredible goal, we can only hope for it to happen again. Each game is different though, and we’ll need to be careful and concentrated”.
A small mention for the Stadium meetings: “I have no news, I just hope everything can be resolved for the good of the team and the city.”
