Roma have suspended spoting director Gianluca Petrachi, Sky Sport Italy reports. It is understood that the differences between the former Torino director and the Giallorossi can not be bridged, so the club have made the decision to replace him with Morgan De Sanctis, who has been working as Petrachi's right-hand arm.
The former goalkeeper got the license to become a sporting director and will now be in charge of Roma's transfers, under the supervision of Franco Baldini. Despite the turbulences of the last few days, Petrachi kept working on Roma's future. The soon-to-be former Giallorossi sporting director was in Rome today to talk with the coach and the team before the club made the decision to suspend him.
