Inter are set to resume their season on Sunday with a match against Sampdoria, and in the run up coach Antonio Conte spoke about the adjustments he is making to his team getting back on the pitch. Conte spoke with PP Sports: "The break in Serie A represents a new situation. It's hard to say now how the restart will go. We continued to work, analyzing the months gone by and looking for new solutions. It was tricky to manage the workouts from home. I have to thank my players who had a great sense of responsibility and showed how professional they are in this complicated situation. I am proud to see how our mentality has grown. Everyone is aware that they must raise their own level in order to be competitive and win. There is a chance that the whole squad will be available and that is a positive. Sanchez is in good fitness, we were able to work a little with Eriksen too, putting him in the proper spot and getting him level with everyone else in terms of his tactics and physical status. Playng with the fans is everything. Football is shared with the fans, I hope they can come back to the stadium as soon as possible."
