Roma, Paredes:"We're privileged to have our passion as our jobs"

After a season on loan at Empoli, Leandro Paredes is starting to establish himself at Roma. The Argentine midfielder gave an interview to the giallorossi's official website in which he discussed his idols and why he's so grateful to be a footballer:"My idol was certainly my father Victor Daniel, he gave me the passion for football: I always had the ball at my feet and it's thanks to him that I got close to this sport. He was a professional until he was 17 and played for Racing Club, then he stopped when my mother got preganant. At the football level there was Riquelme, he was the player I watched the most and that I liked. I learned a lot from him, even when I had him as a teammate. Working on something you enjoy in life will ensure it's never a bother: it's a privilege to be paid to put into the practice the things you enjoy the most"
