Following the recent extension with Lorenzo Pellegrini, Roma is now working on retaining another of their key starters.
Today the giallorossi's director Tiago Pinto met with the centerback's agent Giuseppe Riso to start discussing a new long term deal.
While the meeting was positive, there wasn't much urgency to close the deal immediately, this was a more informational summit since the current contract expires in 2024, while the goal is extend it through 2026 with a salary around €3 million after taxes.
