Just when the negotiations seemed to be virtually over, the last few hours of the transfer window have brought issues in the Gerson deal that should bring him to Lille. At this time, his transfer to the French side is at risk. Why? The player is yet to reach an agreement with what was meant to be his new club. Despite Roma being in full agreement with Lille, the deal is all but closed.
A reminder on the agreement between the clubs: 5 million Euros for the expensive loan, option to buy set at 13 million, for a grand total of 18 million Euros. The wait begins for any developments, but time is ticking.
