A small delay, which at the moment does not seem to have put the deal in jeopardy, has come up in the deal to bring Matias Viña to Roma. A few obstacles have arisen, which Roma are looking to, and should resolve in the next 48 hours.
Between Palmeiras and Roma there were issues related to the payment methods - of note, there is the involvement of Nacional Montevideo to whom 50% of the fee earned is due - that the sides are working to overcome.
The fee agreed between the clubs is for a base of €10 million fixed and a €3 million bonus.
Bewteen Roma and the player the deal is a four-year contract earning him €1.5 million plus bonuses net per season.
