Roma is getting closer to Matias Vina. The giallorossi have reached an agreement with Palmeiras for the left-back, who would arrive as a replacement for Spinazzola after the Italian ruptured his achilles in Euro 2020.
Roma adjusted the bonuses in the deal in order to obtain an agreement for the player. The agreement is for 10 million fixed plus 3 million in bonuses. Tomorrow they will try and close a deal with the player directly.
They are in a rush to close the deal so they can gift Mourinho with a new left-back. The season has already gotten underway and Mourinho debuted with a 2-0 victory over Ternana.
The giallorossi will go on a preseason retreat in Portugal, and that is where Vina could join the team if everything gets completed. They already have an agreement with Palmeiras and now just need one with the Uruguyuan. Roma are also working on sales as they have officially sold Pau Lopez to Marseille, while Justin Kluivert is close to joining Nice on loan.
