Roma and Gent resume their Europa League tie in Belgium with Roma holding a 1-0 league after their home leg. The upcoming match will be a tight one between the two teams, and coach Paulo Fonseca described his thoughts on the team leading up to it: "It is very important match that we must think about winning. We need to concentrate on what to expect tomorrow and in the way we must play. Dzeko and Smalling? They are important players but we have young ones too. The mix of youth and experience can be decisive in different moments of the match."
"Will we attack? Yes, planning to defend only is not a good idea. We want to play as usual, aware that scoring a goal is important. We want to play in their half, not ours. It's important to play with ambition. We know the opponent is a strong one and they showed that already in Rome. They're compact, strong, and tomorrow they will be the same. They want to win and tomorrow night will be difficult for us. Atalanta and us have different ways of approaching the game, they have played together a few years already and have some different ideas. They are a very good team, but I have different ideas of football. I enjoy how they play, but my style is not equal to Atalanta. We can of course be quicker in our attacks, we have a lot to improve on."
