Roma and Atalanta played in Wednesday's early midweek fixture, as the giallorossi were handed a 2-0 defeat at the Olimpico. Speaking to SkySport after the match, Roma coach Fonseca broke down the affair: "This is a different match than we're used to because of Atalanta's play style. Honestly they deserved to win, they played a good match and we had trouble marking them. It's difficult to face a team that will man mark you everywhere on the pitch."
"We knew Atalanta has good players, and we changed formation midway through the match. But we didn't do our jobs in the second half. We had a couple chamces, but they created a lot more. It was not a model performance, but that is how football goes.
