After a slow start to the season, Amadou Diawara earned the trust of his new manager Paulo Fonseca. The former Napoli midfielder was able to rehab his knee injury during the forced break in Serie A and now is ready to get back to work as he told Roma Radio:"I feel well. I couldn't wait to return to the pitch to practice with others, although now we are doing individual work. I couldn't wait to get back to Trigoria and go back to what we used to do"
Diawara was asked about the challenges of returning to the pitch:"When we return to the pitch, it will be like the start of the season. We are coming off a long pause, we trained at home. Let's hope we return to the pitch, our goal is finish in top four"
