Roma seem to have finally got back on track after the struggles of the last few weeks, as the Giallorossi trashed Czech side Viktoria Plzen in a 5-0 win at the Olimpico. Coach Eusebio Di Francesco commented the game of his team in the post match interview with Sky Sport: "I am very pleased with my team, the midfielders did well in the 4-2-3-1 formation. I wanted to find the right solutions for this team, despite the fact that make experiments in an enviroment like Rome is not an easy task. I realised that we needed a change, we had to steer away from the 4-3-3. I am happy with the determination that the lads are bringing on the pitch".
Di Francesco also commented the magic moment of midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, who seems reinvigurated by his new role as 'trequartista': I am very happy for him. He always showed me positive signals, also in this new position. I don't know if he will become better than Nainggolan, but I surely hope so. I am really happy for him, he took a lot of criticism that he did not deserve, but now he is more confident", concluded the coach.
