The win against Genoa in the last Serie A match took some pressure off Roma and their coach Di Francesco, but now the Giallorossi have another difficult match to show that they are out of the swamp of bad results. Roma will in fact travel to the Allianz Stadium to play against Juventus and Eusebio Di Francesco discussed the possible squad in the pre-match press conference: "Dzeko will be back in training with the team for the first time today
and we’ll see whether he can make the bench. He’s been out for 20 days –
he’ll almost certainly be in the squad but of course won’t be in shape
to start. We’re hopeful on De Rossi - he’ll be with the group for the final
training session later. As for the other injured players, we’ll see if
we can get one or two back for the Sassuolo game. Zaniolo as false nine? It's unlikely to happen, he didn't give me the signals I expected from him in that position".
The Roma coach also talked about their opponents: "Juventus are the strongest team in the league. Ronaldo is the main danger. I wish Allegri made him rest against us". Finally, the coach was asked about the potential moves of the club for the upcoming transfer window: "We will have to make some moves, but I've not discussed with the club about it yet. We will make our evaluation, considering the situation and the fitness level of some players".
