Tammy Abraham is getting closer to becoming Roma's new striker. In this sense, the Giallorossi general director's trip to London to persuade the player to join Roma was decisive.
The talks held in the past few hours have significantly increased the possibilities to land the deal for Roma, as Abraham is getting more and more convinced about joining the Italian team as he would be an important, central player to the Giallorossi's project.
The English striker would join Roma on a permanent deal for €40 million plus add-ons. Chelsea, however, will include a buy-back clause set at above €55 million.
After Dzeko's departure and Mourinho's call to the player, it look likely that Tiago Pinto will return to Rome with Abraham's "yes" to join the Giallorossi, with the next few hours decisive to settle the Englishman's future.
