Roma have identified their top target for Mourinho's attack with Sardar Azmoun. The Iranian striker born in '95 has been at Zenit St Petersburg for past two seasons, but thanks to his recent performances he could be leaving Russia.
Azmoun is a versatile striker who can play in multiple positions upfront and has scored 53 goals with 19 assists in 84 matches.
Roma has started the conversations with Zenit and would like to offer a player in addition to financial considerations. Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in Azmoun and are willing to offer €18 million, the German club is offering better terms but Mourinho's push to sign him is keeping Roma in the race.
