Roma and Nainggolan attempting to find agreement to an extension

Roma and Radja Nainggolan are set to meet in the next few days to try and reach an agreement for a contract extension. Given the midfielder's loyalty to the club, especially over the last few seasons when Chelsea has made the Belgian a target, Nainggolan is hoping that Roma meet his salary request. He is asking for a raise to €4.8m per season net of taxes (Nainggolan currently earns €3.8m), a sum which would have been guaranteed to him had he moved to the Premier League.
