Roma goalkeeper Alisson discussed his first difficult year in Rome, the big match against Juventus and his coach Di Francesco in an interview with Il Messaggero: "Last year I didn't play much and it wasn't easy for me but I never thought about quitting, I worked even harder instead. I thought about going out on loan, but then I realised I could have given something to Roma. We are heading towards our goal, that is winning the Scudetto. To do so, we need to beat every team, included Juventus. I respect them but I have also faith in my teammates. I like the new method brought by Di Francesco, but I got along well with Spalletti, too. Even though I didn't play much. The coach is the boss, everyone have to do what he says. With Di Francesco we are on the right path, we have improved defensively and there's a new mentality in the dressing room". Finally, Alisson talked about his strengths and his future: "I think I have many strengths, but the main one is definitely being always focused. I love it in Rome, but I'm not thinking about the future. I want to leave a good memory of me here and win something with this shirt"
