After a succesful loan spell in Serie A, Chris Smalling is set to return to Roma. The Giallorossi have in fact rached an agreement over personal terms with the English centre-back, who has agreed to sign a one-year deal with Roma.
Now the Italian clubs are confident they will try to reach a final agreement with Manchester United, whom Smalling is contracted to until 2022. The discussions between the parties are ongoing and the next few days will be decisive.
