The Rocco Commisso era is underway at Fiorentina, it is now official. The American entrepreneur has purchased the viola club from the Della Valle family. After closing the deal in Milan, the transfer of ownership was made official through the below note:
"ACF Fiorentina has announced today that Rocco B. Commisso is the new owner of the club. The closing occurred in Milan."

In these three years of contact to acquire the club, I've developed a deep understanding of how important La Viola is for this city and its fans."
