An uneven season and an expiring contract- at the moment Ivan Rakitic's future is a bit uncertain. The Croatian international discussed his situation in an interview with Mundo Deportivo:"My name is linked to numerous clubs, not just during this odd time in football, but for more than a year. ,y contract with Barcelona expires in 2021 and I would like to stay here a few more years, but what matters most is having fun and in the last few months odd things happened"
Rakitic has clear ideas on what his next destination will look like:"I'm not a bag of potatoes, I decide what to do with my life. Should I leave Barcelona, I would look for a team where I feel loved, respected and at a club that needs me and in a city where my family would be at easy. Barcelona could give me all these things, but if that isn't the case, I'll decide where to go".
