The roads of Marco Verratti and Neymar Jr could go their separate ways over the course of this summer, if the Brazilian player will be able to leave Paris Saint-Germain. The Italian midfielder heard the market voices that surround his teammate, expressing his point of view to RMC Sport: "The moment in which a player wants to leave, I think that their current club should satisfy their wishes. Obviously with determined financial conditions that satisfy both the clubs. Nevertheless, I wouldn't keep someone who doesn't want to stay anymore."
A few years ago Verratti himself seemed to be on his way out at PSG, but the situations then returned to normal: "I needed explanations, I had noticed a few situations that didn't fit with a team that wanted to win important trophies. I wasn't in agreement with some things, but then we were able to clarify ourselves. Going back to Neymar, I've never felt that he wanted to leave. Obviously, I'd prefer that he stayed."
