Premier League, the official date of the close of the January transfer window

The official date of the end of the winter transfer market has been announced through the Premier League's official channels. The deadline for transfer deals will be 31 January at 23:00 local time. Additionally, no players added to clubs during the window will be available to play in game week 21, between 1 and 3 January. The Premier League has announced the move, similar to the shortening of the summer window, to avoid disruptions to clubs' training schedules.
