After Jerzy Brzeczek had talked about a real 'epidemic' of illness - that resulted in at least eight players on the Poland national team getting sick - yesterday, Poland defeated Latvia 2-0. These two goals came in the 76' and 84', from Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski and AS Monaco's Kamil Glik.
In the press conference following the match, the Polish Technical Commissioner returned to talk about the virus, reassuring everyone about Arkadisuz Milik's condition: "Milik has not caught swine flu luckily. We asked for a doctor's advice and the tests ruled out this hypothesis".
Brzeczek then talked about two other players playing in the Italian Serie A TIM: "We are very worried about Bartosz Bereszynski - he definitely has the worst case. He has already left the retreat and has left for Poznan for investigations. Karol Linetty? He started having problems at night..."
