Former Tottenham Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino spent five successful and intense years with the club, nearly winning both the Premier League and Champions League during his time there. He remains attached to the club, and spoke on his desire to coach there again when speaking with BT Sports.
"I had a splendid voyage with that club, and it ended like nobody would have wanted. I know, though, inside of me that our paths will cross again. My dream is to return to finish what we weren't able to do at the end. We were close to both the Premier and Champions League and came up just short. Obviously, I want to redeem myself. One day I'd like to return, because it's a special club, just like the fans are."
"I don't know if it'll happen in 5 or 10 years, but before dying, I want to manage Tottenham again. I'd also like to win a title, because I want to know what it means to win something with Tottenham. The fans are splendid, they gave me unconditional love from the first day. I want to pay them back for all they showed me with a trophy, which they deserve without a shadow of a doubt."
