There looks to be a change in ownership coming for Parma. After contact with the Qatari Al Mana family, the Krause group out of the United States is currently in pole position to acquire a majority stake in the club. The closing is near and could happen anyday after September 15th. The Krause group has a history in food and beverage and retail, as they own the Kum & Go chain and in Italy they have also invested in food and wine products. In 2016 they invested 50 million euros in a joint venture with one of the most famous companies of Barolo: Vietti.

They have no surpassed the Al Mana family for majority stake in Parma. As of September 30th the Qatari group would have had an obligation to close the deal with possibly paying a penalty. If a closing happens with the US group, this would not happen. At the end of August the group observed the city and project of Parma, also visiting the sports center and stadium. The holding company of the family is father and son combo Kyle and Tunner. The Krause family has a significant portfolio of real estate and farms in the United States.
