Inter Vice President Javier Zanetti spoke with TYC Sports on the earlier rumors surrounding Lionel Messi's potential transfer to Inter, as well as negotiations around Lautaro Martinez.
On Messi: "We couldn't sign him, we spoke a long time about the negative effects of the pandemic and for our market we are working toward situations first for selling and then buying with respect to Financial Fair Play, which must be respected and it's something very important. Our strategy is based on this, as for many other clubs."
On Martinez: "Lautaro knows that he's with a great club and is growing here thanks to the hard work of our manager. Is there a possibility that he leaves Inter? In this moment, there have not been any discussions."
