He could have been Napoli's new striker but Roberto Inglese decided last summer to play for a side where he'd have more playing time, more continuity. A good choice, as shown by Roberto D'Aversa's good season so far but also by the Parma striker's form, who's already scored 8 goals.
Parma's sporting director Daniele Faggiano has talked about the former Chievo coach to Radio Kiss Kiss: "Inglese is an important footballer, a great guy. Who watches the games is aware how much he runs and helps the team. I don't know what it's in for him at the end of the season, we can't keep him under these figures. Never say never in football though, the player feels good in Parma and we could help him".
Roberto Inglese might then be an important player to watch during the summer transfer window, as he already was followed by Atalanta in January while Napoli decided to not open talks before summer.
